Only three tables outside, but it's takeout, so eating by the sea is better. Everything is very good, though the octopus is a bit tough, and the calamari and shrimp could be cleaned better. I appreciate that they have their heads attached. The prices are more than reasonable. All in all, it's a place worth a visit.

Small, convenient, very clean, and the staff are really friendly... a lovely surprise, with friendly service and generous portions of delicious fried food. The simplicity of the place and the delicious fried food are top notch. Down... nothing to complain about, but it's friendly... you need to know how to close an open bottle of wine to take it home 🤣🤣🤣

Highly recommended. We stopped by for lunch and ordered two fried calamari (one with shrimp and one with octopus), a portion of fries, and some panzerotti, which we chose to eat at the tables in front. The ingredients are top-quality, as are the fried foods. The service is very friendly... nothing more to say than "good!"

We had the pleasure of dining at Fritto Misto di Santa Caterina and the experience was simply fantastic. The fresh fried fish was delicious, crispy and tasty, perfectly accompanied by the splendid view of the sea. Eating by the sea made it all the more special. A beautiful experience that we highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy excellent fish in an enchanting atmosphere.

If you want a fresh fish aperitif/dinner, this place is ideal. It is located in the small square of Santa Caterina, the guys who work there are very good, helpful and competent. The fish is fresh, prepared, cut and fried on the spot so the frying is of excellent quality. 2 of us had octopus meatballs (large portion), a mixed seafood dish (squid, prawns and octopus) and 2 beers, paying €29 in total. Good value for money considering that the fish was very fresh and the place is practically located on the sea. Highly recommended

Even though I'm local, I wasn't familiar with it. Located in the center of Santa Caterina, it's mainly a takeout spot: there are tables outside (no table service), but the great thing is you're not tied down. And eating fried fish (still steaming hot) on the waterfront, on the beach, on the harbor dock, or downtown, in the square...all just steps away... It's the best! I recommend it for those who don't want to waste time sitting in restaurants that are always crowded, especially in the summer... And don't want to sacrifice taste without spending a fortune. Courteous and helpful staff, fast service, more than fair prices (not overwhelming as often happens in coastal/tourist areas), very good quality, almost excellent. The packaging is phenomenal. Hand wipes included. Suggestions: 1) It would be tempting to find seafood sandwiches on the menu; 2) In addition to the usual cans, water, and beer, it would be helpful to keep a few bottles of prosecco/wine in the fridge, perhaps a half-liter or similar. The "complete mixed seafood fry" is generous for two people. Highly recommended. I'll be back.

SPECTACULAR!!! My partner and I, after a day at the beach, wanted to have dinner in a typical restaurant on the Salento coast. We found this small restaurant that looked promising, in fact we weren't wrong 😅 The owners are two really nice and friendly guys who know how to make a customer feel at ease and pamper them! The highlight is obviously the food and the quality/price ratio of the restaurant, which I give 10/10! Chips that you struggle to finish for two at a truly ridiculous price compared to the competition, and super good too! A sandwich with (fresh) calamari that was amazing to say the least, and the sweet chips covered in pistachio! Guys, if you happen to pass by Santa Caterina/Santa Maria Al Bagno, stop by here, it's really worth it. You'll have dinner/lunch for little money but your stomach will be super full and your taste buds will be happy! 🥰

Everything was very good. A basic five-star fry shop. You order what you want, then you sit down at a table when it's free (otherwise, you take it away) and eat. Everything was good and fresh. I've been coming back for years.

I can recommend this place without fear of contradiction, where you can eat excellent products at a still reasonable price. (Well done 👏👏). The owners are friendly, professional, polite and, what doesn't hurt, they always have a smile for you. 😊 The place is considered ideal for a quick, no-frills, takeaway hot, quality dishes. (Try it and believe it) 👍

At Fritto Misto I ate a really good mixed fish fry!! 🐟🦐 Super light and not too greasy. 🔝 Hyper honest prices. 😍 The guys are super kind, nice and helpful. It's a great place to eat a fried seafood/land dish or even a quick sandwich! Must try! 💙
